NEWS 1811 (4-Jul-05)  Play Tournaments on the Internet Chess Club!
The Internet Chess Club holds over 500 tournaments every week! There
are 74 scheduled events weekly, as well as hundreds of impromptu
tournaments for bullet, blitz, standard, and wild variations.
The next 24-hour Tomato tournament Marathon will be held July 9-10th.
There will be five sections and dozens of membership-extension
prizes; see help marathon.
The 3 3 Blitz Championship ran from June 11-18th. Over 400 players
participated, and the winners were:
Open: INDIAN-ELEPHANT(IM)
u2000: BadHabitMarco
Next up is the 5 0 Championship in August. See help Championship

The 2005 ICC Loser's (w17) Championship ran from June 17-25th.
Resigner won the 1 0 and FJduRandt won the 3 1 section. The next
Wild Championship will be Atomic (w27) and Fischer Random (w22); see

During the month of June, there were 2,473 players in the 333
scheduled tourneys, and a total of 2,405 tournaments overall.
