NEWS 1804 (6-May-05)  Play Tournaments on the Internet Chess Club!
The Internet Chess Club holds over 500 tournaments every week! There
are 74 scheduled events weekly, as well as hundreds of impromptu
tournaments for bullet, blitz, standard, and wild variations.
To mark reaching 250,000 tourneys since its inception almost 10 years
ago, Tomato will host the 250K Celebration tournament at 2pm server
time (14:00 EDT) on Saturday, May 7th. There will be CASH prizes of
$400 USD and 6 years in ICC membership-extensions. For full details

The next 24-hour Tomato tournament Marathon will be held May 14-15th.
There will be five sections and dozens of membership-extension
prizes; see help marathon.
The 3 0 Blitz Championship ran from April 2-9th. Over 400 players
participated, and the winners were:

The 2005 ICC Three Checks (w25) Championship ran from April 15-23rd.

During the month of April, there were 2,446 players in the 337
scheduled tourneys, and a total of 2,326 tournaments overall.
