Live Coverage on ICC of KASPAROV-FRITZ starting Tuesday!


The ICC broadcast team will be showing games from the greatly
anticipated match between world #1-rated Garry Kasparov and
the chess program Fritz X3D.  The four games will be played
November 11, 13, 16, and 18 at the New York Athletic Club
in New York City.  The match is sponsored by X3D.

In January, Kasparov could only tie his match against Deep
Junior, and last year Kramnik could not win his match against
Fritz.  Will the computer or the human finally break the deadlock?

Each game starts at 1pm ICC time (18:00 GMT).  One hour before
each game, at 12 noon ICC time, Grandmaster Boris Alterman will
give a preview on ICC.  During each game, Grandmaster Emil
Sutovsky will give live commentary for ICC members.

The games will also be covered by http://Chess.FM with live
commentary by John Fedorowicz and analysis on an ICC board.
That's commentary by three top Grandmasters available only
through ICC!

ICC members are welcome to "observe" the games and "whisper"
comments with the other spectators. finger Live on ICC
will give you specific information about the game number to
observe.  finger Kasparov-Fritz for results, standings, and
other information.  The games will also be listed in the Event
List in Blitzin, where you can click on the icon to watch while
they are in progress.
