Marathon Prizes Doubled! May 10-11.

The May Marathon Tournament takes place on ICC May 10-11.

On Saturday, May 10th, the Tomato family of automated TDs will
begin a 24-hour Marathon of Tournaments.  These tournaments will
be divided into 6 sections!  There will be 3 classes (1700+,
1400-1700 and U1400) for the blitz players and 3 alternate
tournaments for non-blitz players (1 0, 15 0, and 3 1 w17).
The first tournaments will commence at exactly 12:00 noon server
time (EST) on May 10th and the marathon will conclude at the
end of any tournaments ongoing at 11:59 am server time May 11th.

There has been a special addition this marathon, ALL the prizes
have been DOUBLED. It is our way of saying Thank you for your
participation, and to encourage even more ICC members to get
involved. In the March Marathon we set an all-time record for
most players with 1,053 participants. We are looking forward
to breaking that record.

The winners in each of the 7 sections will receive prizes.
Winners will be determined by cumulative number of points scored
in the event.  There is also prizes for Best Blitz u2000 and Best
Bullet u1800 For more information about prizes and complete rules
