Chessclub.com 3 0 Championship starts April 7. Open to all!

The Tomato team of managers is hosting the Chessclub.com 3 0
Championship starting April 7.  The 3 0 Championship consists of
three stages: Qualifiers, Candidates, and Finals.  Free-trial members
may play in the first stage, but they cannot advance unless they 
register for a paid membership by midnight Saturday, April 13.

The 3 0 Champs will have an Under 2100 Champion and an Under 1600
Champion.  The top four finishers rated under 2100 and under 1600 in
each Qualifier will be invited to the respective Class Finals.  Please
see the web page listed below for eligibility requirements and other
details about the class championships.

The first stage will consist of 12 Qualifier events (9 round 3 0
Swisses) during the week of April 7-13.  These Qualifiers will be
held on LittlePer in channel 225 unless otherwise noted.  Play in as 
many Qualifiers as you can!!

The top 3 finishers in EACH individual Qualifier and top 6 in overall
Qualifier "series" (cumulative score from all qualifiers combined)
earn invitations to the Candidates Stage.  Alternate spots will be
given to those who just miss out on qualifying.  The schedule of
Qualifiers is as follows (all times are server time or EDT.  To see
server time while at Chessclub.com, type "date")

Week of April 7-13
SUN (April  7):   6am       Noon   7pm
MON (April  8):                    6pm
TUE (April  9):             3pm
WED (April 10):                    8pm
THU (April 11):             3pm    7pm
FRI (April 12):   12:45am   5pm
SAT (April 13):   12:45am   2pm

No pre-registration is required for the Qualifiers.  There is no limit
to the number of Qualifiers one may play in.  To play in a Qualifier
tourney, just show up and type "tell LittlePer join !" when the
Qualifier is open.  For the 12:45 am Qualifiers, type "tell Cooly join !".

Top finishers from Stage 1 will be invited to Stage 2 which consist of
two Candidates tourneys (9 round 3 0 swisses) the weekend of April
20-21.  The top finishers in the Candidates earn spots in the 3 0
Finals which will be at 2pm on Saturday, April 27.  Bodryachok is 
seeded into the 3 0 Finals as the defending Chessclub.com 3 0 Champion.
