Live Coverage of Essent Tournament starts October 14!

The Chessclub.com broadcast team will be showing games from the
Essent Chess Tournament 2001 from Hoogoeveen, Netherlands, from
October 14-20.  The event is a double-round-robin with a rest
day on October 17.  All games start at 8am ICC time except
for the last round, which starts at 6am ICC time.

The four players in the event are:

GM Korchnoi Switzerland 2617
GM Polgar Hungary 2686
GM van Wely Netherlands 2695
GM Bruzon Cuba 2573, current World Junior Champion

Chessclub.com members are welcome to "observe" the games and
"whisper" comments with the other spectators. finger Essent2001
on Chessclub.com will give you specific information about the game
numbers to observe and the current standings.  The games will also
be listed in the Event List in Blitzin, where you can click on the
icon to watch while they are in progress.

The games will be stored in "liblist Essent2001".  Check out
help Cool-Libs for a listing of all the libraries of top
tournaments, matches and players.  As always, you can get live help
on Chessclub.com in the help channel: "tell 1 I want to know ...".
