LIVE COVERAGE: 2000 FIDE World Championship Tournaments

 
100 men and 61 women met in New Delhi, India for the FIDE World Championship 
and  Women's Championship .  8 men and 4 women remain for round 5 of the 
knockout tournaments. 
 
     GM Anand(India)     - GM Khalifman(Russia) 
     GM Adams(England)   - GM Topalov(Bulgaria) 
     GM Tkachiev(France) - GM Grischuk(Russia) 
     GM Shirov(Spain)    - GM Bareev(Russia) 
 
     GM Xie Jun(China)   - WGM Kovalevskaya(Russia) 
     WGM Qin(China)      - WGM Maric(Yugoslavia) 
 
Round 5 is December 9-11, round 6 is December 12-16.  Games start at 3 AM 
ICC time, which is 0800 GMT.  The men's final match will be in Tehran, Iran 
December 20-22, 24-27. 
 
ICC will cover every game. Type finger FIDE for the observe command for 
each game.  Type finger FIDE2000 for information on this event.
