WBCA NEWS: World Open! Caduceo!

WBCA BLITZ AT THE WORLD OPEN! Wednesday, July 5 at 10:30 AM. GM Browne will
play both the Blitz and the 3 day! (Afterwards Browne will play in Vermont
July 10-16.)

Scherzo won the 24 June ICC/WBCA Swiss, scoring 5.5-1.5! The news of the
day, clearly, is Caduceo, who caught DrTarrasch last week from far behind,
and who won the January - June Grand Prix with 100 Prize Points for 1 year
of ICC membership! Indian-Speed won 1 year of WBCA membership in the Under
1800 category. The July - December 2000 Grand Prix begins next week; prize
categories are 1. most prize points overall, 2. most U2000 (avg.), and 3.
most U1500 (avg.). Speak with carpathian or leave a message to WBCA(TD).
