GM Crest wins Chessclub.com 1 0 Championship!

GM Crest became the first person ever to win two different
Chessclub.com Championship by winning the Chessclub.com 1 0
Championship on Saturday, April 8th.  Crest won the Chessclub.com
5 0 Championship last month.  Crest won the 12 player double round
robin event with a score of 17/22.  WhiteHorse finished just a point
behind at 16 to take the runner up spot while FM VASTA-Eduardo scored
15.5 points to take third place.  The grid of this event is below.

Regionchamp won the Under 1800 section of the Chessclub.com 1 0

A total of 536 players participated in the Chessclub.com 1 0
Championship.  The average turnout during the Qualifiers was 84
players.  Both numbers easily surpassed expectations.  The next
Chessclub.com 1 0 Championship will likely take place in August or
September.  The Chessclub.com 3 0 Championship is currently in
progress (see finger Championship) and there will be a blitz with
increment championship in May (details to be provided soon).
