NEWS 1347 (17-Mar-00) Dos Hermanas KNOCKOUTS for final 32 players!
The final knockout rounds of the Dos Hermanas tournament will be
played on CHESSCLUB.COM at 2pm EST Saturday March 18 and noon EST
Sunday March 19. 32 players qualified from the qualification
tournaments (help DosHermanas) played on chessclub.com over the
past week. They include 10 Grandmasters and 13 International
Masters.
The knockout matches will be two games of 5 5 time control. In
case of a tie, there will be a one-game playoff with White getting
5 minutes and Black getting 4 minutes. Black wins the match if
the game is a draw.
