Server crashed, moved to new building

The chessclub.com machine was down from 05:00 to 16:00 today,
March 15.  We still don't really know why it crashed; possibly
disk troubles, possibly a power failure, maybe something else.
While it was down, we moved it to our ISP's new building,
which will be staffed 24 hours a day.  The server has a new
IP number now, 207.99.83.227.  (queen.chessclub.com is now
at 207.99.83.228, but isn't running quite yet.)

A lot of files got erased or overwritten when the machine went
down.  If your account seems to be gone, please tell an
administrator, or get someone to leave a message for fishbait,
and he'll restore the account as soon as he can.  Sorry, but
we cannot restore game files, except for correspondence games
that you cannot reconstruct. 

We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working to make
the system more reliable in the future.
