Daily Blitz Tournament for ICC players over 1500.

The Internet Chess Club holds a tournament for players rated over
1500 (ICC blitz rating) every day at 11pm EST.  The tournament is
a 5-round rated Swiss event with a time control of 2 6.

Anyone with an ICC blitz rating over 1500 at the start of the
tournament each day is welcome to enter.  To join a tournament,
login to ICC at least 10 minutes before 11pm, type "+chan 224" to
get into the tournament channel, and type "tell Cooly join".

Each month the ICC awards prizes to the 3 players who have the best
cumulative score during the whole month, and to the 3 players who
play the most games during the month.  The same player cannot win
more than one prize in one month.  The 3 prizes in each category are
ICC membership extensions of one month, a half month, and a half
month.  Prizes begin February 1999.
